Well if Windows Update will take care of updating Internet Explorer 11 for me Then why when I go to Internet Explorer home page and click on settings and then click on about Internet Explorer It shows the version I have Version11.332.15063.0 andthen right under that it shows updated versions: 11.0.42: (KB4018271) Product ID: 0-00003-AA459 The (KB4018271) is highlighted in blue but when I click on it a box pops up and says Google Chrome is unresponsive do you want to restart it nowor close? Your IE11 is up-to-date.For the 'Google Chrome is unresponsive' issue - this is.nothing. related to IE11, it's because you have (or previously had) Google Chrome installed as your default web browser. And when you click the blue hyperlink, your computer is trying tolaunch Google Chrome to show you the webpage of that hyperlink.
